While it was based on a German book, the cartoon itself was a French-Canadian effort produced by Saban International Paris and CinéGroupe. The categorisation as a German television series is incorrect. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.130.1.180 (talk) 17:14, 13 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

Whoever keeps putting Wunschpunsch airing on Cartoon Network in the united states under the dvd poster, please stop. It never aired in the United States, no Americans know about it as it never got aired here, only in Canada on CBC, which is how it got it's English dub. People archive Cartoon Network all the time and grew up with it during the time of it's release that they'd be able to remember this like the time Dragon Hunters or Waynehead supposedly aired there (Which they did for a bit). Wunschpunsch never did. Thanks. - American Wunschpunsch fan who discovered it in 2018, via Youtube 2600:8801:9500:590:612A:CAE6:B87C:C6A7 (talk) 05:40, 28 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
