I made this page yesterday because I believe it should not be simply a redirect to WoW itself. Anyways if anyone knows how to put this actually ONTO the WoW taskforce beside thottbot in software category it would be a great help, I am fairly new.

This page is going to be a target for deletion unless you have some good references establishing notability, which may be difficult if not impossible. I tried looking up news articles about Wowhead on Google and there are only a few, and those are from gaming web sites. I hate to say it, but this article might be doomed because the subject (the Wowhead web site) just isn't important enough to have an article. What you need to establish is, who cares about the site apart from a handful of World of Warcraft players? What distinguishes it from the countless other gaming web sites that aren't notable? And can you back up those reasons with good examples? I was hoping a respected media journal might have at least mentioned this web site, but I'm coming up dry. It's best to get these things established first before creating an article, especially one of this nature which is AFD-bait. -- Atamachat 00:25, 17 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Some gaming websites are fine, per WP:VG/S. And with an Alexa rank in the top 500. --Izno (talk) 06:10, 19 May 2008 (UTC)Reply
I'm too lazy to find references on notability right now, but before this article is nominated for deletion, someone should do the legwork to prove notability. It's by far the most trafficked WoW-related site outside of the official Blizzard site, and I'd actually be surprised if it didn't get *more* traffic than the official Blizzard site. James A. Who is the artist who produced the website's logo and much of its other art? 2fort5r (talk) 13:05, 1 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
