Pasted content from Whoops! edit

Whoops was one of many short lived shows on the Fox network that tried to create a situation comedy out of a very unusual premise. A nuclear accident, caused by a kid driving a radio controlled car under the wheels of a truck that just happens to be carrying a nuclear missile on it during a parade, flips over. Thus destroying everything on Earth except for a small farm where the few remaining humans come to live with hilarity ensuing. Each person survives the nuclear holocaust through comically unlikely circumstances (one person is inside a bank vault, one person in their basement, one person sitting inside their Volvo). Each episode would normally revolve around those characters attempting to recreate civilization on the farm. One episode dealt with the two smartest (male and female) being chosen to mate in order to begin repopulation, and the awkwardness between them as they attempt to do so. Another episode focused on their attempts to create a new economy based on twist-ties and the business executive who, through possession of a fuse the other survivors needed to run their new businesses, was able to gain control of this economy and buy out everyone else.

Gilligan's Island with Nukes edit

A review I remember reading about this show...and pretty accurate. With characters resembling "Ginger", "Mr Howell", and "the Professor".

I thought I was the only person who ever watched it! edit

I started watching the show to see Lane Davies (Mason Capwell from "Santa Barbara") and loved it. Lines like "The last tube of toothpaste on Earth, and *you* have to squeeze it in the middle!" --204.246.229.210 (talk) 17:16, 24 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
