- Why limit recommendations to such dated books and primary sources? I expect Eric Foner and W.E.B. Du Bois may have something to say, as both wrote deeply on Reconstruction. Need some contemporary perspective as well.Parkwells (talk) 04:01, 31 January 2014 (UTC)
