Jack Shepard is not a neurosurgeon
editJack Shepard is a spinal surgeon, not a neurosurgeon. Stop editing this back. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.0.223.244 (talk) 10:46, 13 April 2009 (UTC)
A spinal surgeon is a neurosurgeon; they are the same thing. Neurosurgeon is the proper medical term for spinal surgeon. --Jackieboy87 (talk · contribs) 12:07, 13 April 2009 (UTC)
A spinal surgeon could be an orthopedic surgeon or a neurosurgeon. In the show Jack is referred to as a `spinal surgeon' and never as a neurosurgeon; this is less ambiguous particularly because neurosurgery is commonly associated with the brain. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.0.223.244 (talk) 01:26, 15 May 2009 (UTC)
