Notability

edit

Wham bars deserve a place on Wikipedia. They're a cult British sweet. Wham bars are a confectionery that have lasted 20 years, are popular with young adults (due to retro value) and children (due to price). If Space Raiders get their own page, why can't Wham? If they can't have their own page, what exactly is the difference between Space Raiders (cheap, cult value savoury product) and Wham (cheap, cult value sweet product) that means that one is notable and the other is not? The difference is that the notability of Space Raiders is established in the article with references. The notability of Wham Bars is not established in anyway.--Woland (talk) 20:56, 15 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
There are no references in the Space Raiders article. In fact, it has an 'unreferenced' tag. Ray and jub (talk) 21:27, 15 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
My mistake. This doesn't change what I'm talking about though and every article has to stand on its own regardless of what other articles are out there.--Woland (talk) 21:33, 15 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for your help. I'll hopefully be back with references. Ray and jub (talk) 21:35, 15 November 2008 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.29.222.228 (talk) Reply

Talk page content deleted

edit

I chanced upon this article and tagged it as written like an advert, needing clean up at least. Viewing the history, it was PRODded, then de-prodded by the same editor who has deleted this Talk page content in this change. (Is not active, with only six edits during 2018/to Feb 2019).

My understanding is that Talk page content should not be deleted except by an admin? As Northamerica1000 edited the talk page after content deletion, perhaps they would comment and restore? Procedural.--86.29.222.228 (talk) 01:13, 30 May 2019 (UTC)Reply
