Ambiguous edit

Westnet.com.au should not be mixed up with westnet.net.au 220.233.48.200 11:18, 19 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

Products & Services edit

I was thinking of adding a basic list of the products & services that westnet provide

  • Dialup & ISDN
  • ADSL & related hardwares
  • PSTN Full Service (line rental & local calls)
  • Long Distance
  • Website / Domain Hosting
  • etc

So to represent Westnets full range of products and not just a Service provider. Ideally a timeline of when these products & services were added to the companys range would be good, but perhaps difficult to obtain. -Shaddowofadream 05:21, 28 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

Shaping edit

Some one should ad that Westnet has publicly admitted that it shapes peer to peer traffic during peak hours. Something that it SHOULD HAVE told its customers BEFORE they signed on!!!!!! —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 124.150.88.95 (talk) 08:14, August 20, 2007 (UTC)

Advertisment edit

I found that some parts of this article; namely the "Broadband ADSL Internet", "Satellite Broadband" and "Dialup Internet" sounded like they were promoting Westnet, instead of providing neutral information. A rewrite may be necessary. Jonoerik (talk) 09:40, 28 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

That's not too surprising considering this post made to the conflict of interest noticeboard today: Wikipedia:COIN#Westnet. I think that the whole "awards" section should be removed personally - there are no citations and they don't really tell the reader anything. If any of the awards are notable themselves (i.e. there is an article about the award) then they can stay but otherwise they should go. I'll wait a week or so before removing them, please comment if you agree or disagree with this. Thanks Smartse (talk) 03:49, 17 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
I agree that most of those were non-notable but I have found cites for about 2 of the awards, which were kept. Jwoodger (talk) 04:26, 17 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
