Future plans edit

I'd like to expand the history section, as well as add some photographs of the school. I hope to get down to Western in the last half of August to get those pics, so expect them up around that time period. That said, if you have any, feel free to post 'em! ~ (The Rebel At) ~ 19:25, 27 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Nice job on the article - it's shaping up well! We'll have to dig up some history of the school sometime. I've been exchanging e-mails with an old teacher of mine this summer, so I'll have to ask him for ideas. Keep up the good work! G Rose 18:17, 31 July 2006 (UTC)Reply
My thanks, and thanks as well for your own touching up. Every little bit helps! I've done a little contacting of my own about procuring a student handbook (if I ever had one, its buried deep in a box in the attic somewhere). It seems it has more accurate information than the website currently. If and when I can find such, I'll make the respective touch ups to the article.~ (The Rebel At) ~ 19:23, 31 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

non-notable? edit

This is a good start for an article, but regardless of how much can be written about it, it may not fall under notability guidelines. I could write a few thousand words on the state and past use of my sneakers, but that wouldn't elevate them to "notable" status. See WP:Schools - '03 grad

I've never quite understood the resistance towards schools on the WP. We can have articles about bands which are wonderfully obscure, articles about dead malls, and articles about characters from animated television shows, but when it comes to a school which is an important component of communities people raise the non-notability flag. I heartily reject this premise. Schools are notable for their integral part in communities, as much as any park, city hall, or highway (which all have articles). Certainly, more information should be posted on this article, but by no means should they be subject to being cast into the wastebasket of not important enough. ~ (The Rebel At) ~ 20:25, 1 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Virginia Project Assessment edit

Ranked importance as "low" as there is nothing particularly notable the the high school. VirginiaProp 23:18, 31 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
