"Some" angry about criticism of WHS edit

I would like to remove the sentences "This request for WHS to stop has angered some[who?] in the community. They[who?] are accusing the city of not doing enough and now trying to stop others from helping." The only place I've seen this has been in the WHS facebook group, and it doesn't seem noteworthy that "group members are angry that group was criticized". 07:08, 30 November 2021 (UTC) (creating a post here before just doing it because of page dispute warning)174.61.168.176 (talk) 07:09, 30 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

”some” and “They” in this paragraph look like weasel words to me. Unless a reliable source backs up that community members are upset with the reaction to WHS, it’s best to remove that material. White 720 (talk) 15:41, 30 November 2021 (UTC)Reply
Agree, so I've removed the sentence. Schazjmd (talk) 16:12, 30 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

"Exposed" site in external links section? edit

The site We Heart Seattle Exposed has a collection of information about We Heart Seattle. As a self-published source I understand that it can't be used as a source of info on a living person. Is it appropriate to include under the external links heading? White 720 (talk) 14:59, 14 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

It is not an appropriate external link per WP:ELNO #2 and #11. Schazjmd (talk) 15:29, 14 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

Thanks. Best to leave it off. White 720 (talk) 15:57, 14 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

Reliability of Choe articles edit

As I write this, four of the sources are articles contributed by Jonathan Choe to KOMO News, the news operation of a Sinclair Broadcast Group-owned TV station serving the Seattle area. One of those articles appears to contradict itself; as User:Icemandrewfuss notes in this diff, Choe's video reporting and his written reporting, on the same web page, say different things about a person's housing situation. This reporter was later fired from KOMO News after sharing a video on Twitter that complimented the Proud Boys. I didn't find anything about Sinclair on WP:RSP, but given this reporter's contradictory reporting and poor judgement leading to his sudden ouster from the station, I'm wondering whether we should continue to consider his content to be a reliable source. Major work on article? edit

This article reads like someone was really invested in writing it two years ago: play-by-play of 2021 and then just one paragraph showing they were still in existence in 2023? I would like to condense it heavily by turning all the loooong quotes into summary sentences, people can read the links if they want to know the name of the camp resident who saw Suarez one time. I started by making the chronological re-arrangement just now before I decided to create an account and check that nobody would hate it. Future Contributor (talk) 08:04, 26 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
