editThe name the article is talking about is Wahb (وهب ). This name is totally different than the name Wahhab (وهاب ). The lists included in the article are for people named WAHB. Striver, can you just stop reverting my edits please. --Lanov 20:11, 25 August 2006 (UTC)
- err... wahhāb and wahb are two different words as pointed out above (same root however). in the same way basr and baseer are different. ITAQALLAH 04:07, 26 August 2006 (UTC)

Meaning
editI'm pretty sure Wahb means generous or giving, which makes sense, considering al-Wahhab means the Bestower. Devahn58 (talk) 14:45, 21 August 2008 (UTC)
