Hi, TaylorFitzg, I’m not a reviewer, so none of this is aimed at getting the article through AfC, which AFAIK should be based mainly on notability (e.g. WP:NBUILD).

However, here are some general suggestions in no particular order that may help you to work up the article.

  • Title: Is the article about the museum, or the heritage building/site? As currently written, it's about the building (which I think is more appropriate, and more likely to pass notability). A better title would be just "Villa Alba" without "Museum". (Aside: Kew without Victoria may be confusing for people who are more familiar with the botanical gardens in England. I tapped through to this draft because I was surprised to see Kew categorised as Oceania.)
  • First paragraph should start with a concise statement of what the subject is. E.g. "Villa Alba is an historic building in Kew, Victoria. Located opposite Studley Park adjacent the Yarra River, it was built and decorated ... etc. It has served as a hospital, and since 2004 has operated as a museum."
  • Section headings: Some topic areas have a standard structure. I’m not sure if there is one for heritage buildings, but I’d suggest History, Description, References, and External Links could be a good starting point.
  • Reference formatting: Various styles are acceptable, but you may find the Cite tools in the editing interface an easy way to add more structure (title, author, etc.). You can re-use named references at multiple places in the article to save re-typing them as separate footnotes.
  • Other articles. Have a look at Category:Heritage-listed buildings in Melbourne for inspiration. Alkira House is a short 3-paragraph "stub" without subheadings, but covers some essential facts. (I'm a bit dubious about the style of some sentences there.) D'Estaville has a couple of sections, an infobox, and {{cite}}-formatted references.
  • Do you have access to the site to take some photos?

Hope that helps, and I hope you enjoy developing the article. Feel free to contact me via my talk page or by pinging me. (I check my notifications erratically, so please don’t be offended if I'm slow to answer.)
