Talk:Versailles (house)

Size edit

Biltmore House and Hurst Castle are larger than this home. I know they have tried to discount them saying they aren't privately owned homes. This is not true, at least for Biltmore. George Vanderbilt's Grandson, Bill Vanderbilt Cecil, owns and operates Biltmore Estate. Furthermore, they maintain but do not occupy apartments in the house and the house is used for Vanderbilt family events throughout the year. I just don't have references as I read it during the tour. Article name edit

The papers say it is just called "Versailles" and not Versailles house. So, as there is another Versailles, shouldn't this be moved to Versailles (Florida) or Versailles (house) or Versailles (mansion) or something? Anna Frodesiak (talk) 19:22, 10 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

Multiple Issues? edit

Can someone help me understand why the page has been marked with these issues? 1. Appears to be written like an advertisement. What about the article is ad-like? It appears to be a description of the house, who's building it, some history, and reactions. All the reactions are negative, so what is this article thought to be selling? 2. Needs additional citations. Seems to be to be well-cited. Which parts are of concern? GuineaPigC77 (talk) 06:14, 12 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

Agreed. I see no reason for the tags at all. I suggest that they be removed. IAMmoviebuff tagged it. Let's see what he says. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 09:18, 12 June 2014 (UTC)Reply
You are a little pedantic. I saw that video Queen of Versailles on TV last night and realising it was not released yesterday, I thought what might have happened in the meantime. These questions were answered. What more does one need to know? 58.174.193.15 (talk) 03:58, 12 October 2015 (UTC)Reply
