Talk:Vehicle registration plates of Michigan

Old plate edit

What does it mean listed on a license plate for the state of Michigan the following - A.D.MDCCCXXXV ? User: 99.155.149.178

Can you elaborate? "MDCCCXXXV" is Roman numerals for 1835, with "A.D." indicating "Anno Domini," or the years after Christ, more or less. 1835 is well before license plates were issued in Michigan, or anywhere, for that matter. Qqqqqq (talk) 06:50, 12 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Charity Plates edit

Hi Qqqqqq!

Do you think this should include the university and other specialized plates?
