Fair use rationale for Image:Vanish.gif edit

Image:Vanish.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

UK product edit

Ideally I guess the page would be split in two, since as far as I know the two brands are completely unrelated. However, we could do with more encyclopediac information on the UK product, particularly its history - when was it launched, how have the product range and the marketing pitches changed over the years, and so on. I tried searching and am getting nowhere; plenty of advertising or mentions of the product in passing from users, but no explanation of when this was introduced, who invented it or why it got such a similar logo and branding to the North American toilet cleaner. Usually, one sees this when one company is sold off in country-sized pieces, A&W style... but these aren't even the same product. Oddly, the Canadian trademark database on cipo.ic.gc.ca lists both "Vanish" marks and their respective makers, even though only the US version was ever sold here. Vanish Stain Remover registered a Canadian mark and never used it.
Another point that's badly sourced or unsourced is the disappearance of the toilet bowl crystals from the North American market (Sani-Flush and Vanish, at about the same time). We have vague, unsourced claims for both disappearing "circa-2009" for "environmental concerns" but no citable fact. If the stuff had been banned, wouldn't there be a public record somewhere? There was a NY lawsuit in which an environmental group sought to force Reckitt Benckiser (which made Sani-Flush) and other manufacturers to publish ingredients on the products, was this (or product liability) a factor or were the products losing too much market share to 2000 Flushes and similar "toilet tablets" (such as Clorox Automatic)?
