Style
editAtm, reads a bit like a press release. Largely identical to this page, in fact, which might mean there are minor copyright issues requiring editing or paraphrase. Could use more discussion of any actions, engagements or current missions. -LlywelynII (talk) 18:19, 2 October 2008 (UTC)
- Nearly identical material at Spanish wiki. -LlywelynII (talk) 19:02, 2 October 2008 (UTC)
Insignia
editNew FAU site doesn't appear to have any page for aviation insignia, but apparently there's a flag and badge that could go on this page, if someone knows how Uruguayan gov't copyrights work. -LlywelynII (talk) 18:19, 2 October 2008 (UTC)
More info & pics
editThis page has more about the history of the FAU, its serial numbering system, and current and past orders of battle. The FAU site has some good photos of the planes and air bases, but again unsure about copyright. -LlywelynII (talk) 18:19, 2 October 2008 (UTC)
- FAU site contracts some of Spanish wiki's information about current forces and arrangement, if anyone comes by to correct it. -LlywelynII (talk) 19:50, 2 October 2008 (UTC)
Plane names
editAeroflight explains the planes' serial numbering, but what I was originally looking for were example names of FAU aircraft. As far as I can tell, that's nowhere on the internet atm. Do the planes have no names whatever? or does anyone know any of them? -LlywelynII (talk) 18:19, 2 October 2008 (UTC)
Inventory source
editSince FAU website also mention type and number of aircraft operated https://www.fau.mil.uy/es/categoria/41-aeronaves.html (most of them updated in 2018) I propose to use it as source for inventory table. The table below serve as comparison between source.
