Getting ready to merge, but... edit

I came across this article with a merge tag on it while checking out another draft about the same topic (which I deleted).
I decided to do the merge while I was here, but I was stuck because there didn't seem to be a logical spot for a paragraph about this institute in the article University of the Philippines Los Baños, as decided in Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/University of the Philippines Los Baños Institute of Biological Sciences.
The Institute is "under the direct supervision of its director and the dean of the College of Arts and Sciences,", which has its own article at University of the Philippines Los Baños College of Arts and Sciences. The various institutes are mentioned there. Would it be acceptable to merge this article there instead? It's sort of a sub-article of the one mentioned in the deletion discussion.
Or, after looking at the two articles, do you still think the information from here should go in the parent article?

- @Anne Delong: Thanks for the notification. Upon consideration, it makes more sense to merge this article to University of the Philippines Los Baños College of Arts and Sciences, because (as you stated above, and as the article states), "the institute is under the direct supervision of its director and the dean of the College of Arts and Sciences". As such, please consider this as an update to my initial !vote at the AfD dicussion. North America1000 04:01, 25 September 2015 (UTC)
