editI found this comment on the article and have moved it to here. I know nothing about this university and can't address the issue:
- I would like to bring this to your attention: there a kind of mixe up here. Univerisity of Mbujimayi was created around 1990 an autonomous university till today.
- Then there is University Official of Mbujimayi which was created around 1994 as Extenstion of University of Lubumbashi know as "Centre Universitaire de Mbujimayi" became autonomous according to this Ministral Order.
- I wish you will consider this and promise that I'll bring the exact dates next time.

Yes you have point here. Personally I'm from Mbujimayi. There are is Université de Mbujimayi, UM in a area known as Tshikama ( private institution) created by local catholic church and some academics from this place in the early nineties. Secondly there is Université Officielle de Mbujimayi, a public institution, also created in the nineties with the name Centre Universitaire de Mbujimayi . Due to some operating difficulties it was placed under university of Lubumbashi in 1999 called Extention de l'Université de Lubumbashi until 2010 it became autonomous. I personally studied there between 1998 and 2001 before going to University of Lubumbashi. Andertshim (talk) 18:12, 13 January 2017 (UTC)
