I added detailed information, as to the cause of this accident, and removed the reference to bad weather, since the weather was clear and there was no significant wind at all.
The official CAB accident report is the source of my information.

Is there a source giving the model mumber (727-222) for the plane? Usually the -222 would indicate a Boeing 727-200. However, given that the -200 first flew in 1967, I doubt this is correct. - BillCJ 01:09, 25 January 2007 (UTC)Reply
Oops. You're right. The CAB report says B-727-22. Not 222. Good job catching that. :)
