Remodernist film
editThere should be some discussion of Remodernist film here, which seems to be taking underground film in a new direction, at least in America and the UK.
What is considered an underground film?
editWould one consider a film like "The Money Masters" an underground film? It's a historic-economic documentary that is kept censored by wikipedia, although it has reached probably a million viewers online, as well as endorsed by a Nobel laureate and according to some it has even been shown on PBS. Cutscene
editIn the article, the writer posits: "Humans, as they are not a naturally burrowing species, often find subterranean activities such as underground film to be disorienting." This seems beside any point in the discussion. Humans, as a non-burrowing species, have extended themselves way beyond any limits set by nature. Outer space, anyone? Hell, Wikipedia! Anyway, isn't the point of (at least some) underground film to be disorienting? It's got nothing to do with venue. Surely the yen to burrow is also a psychological trope. I for one like the notion, and anyway don't mind watching it at the bottom of a mineshaft. Or on a rooftop in downtown Tokyo. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ironiclogic (talk • contribs) 16:17, 10 October 2010 (UTC)
360 Sound and Vision
editWhy is this significant? There is reference to a single underground film outlet. It doesn't quite make sense to me.
360 Sound and Vision is a small independent film production company located in New York City that produces underground films in the science fiction and action genres. Its productions are The Glasses 2006, The Minority, Cybornetics 2012, The Face in the Wall, The Glasses 3D, and Cybornetics 2:Rise of the Cyborgs. [1]
I checked out the provided reference. It does not support the text that cites it as a source. My guess is someone either from the organization or a fan of it added the text. It doesn't belong here, so I'm boldy removing it. Curdigirl (talk) 18:42, 2 June 2019 (UTC)
