Name edit

This isn't a graphic novel but a two-issue prestige format comic book collected as a trade paperback. I'd suggest moving it to: Uncle Sam (Vertigo) (Emperor 16:39, 8 September 2007 (UTC))Reply

Question edit

Wonder if this will ever be turned into a movie? (That is, one that is faithful to the graphic novel?) --204.4.131.140 13:32, 11 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

I would hope not, as it would degrade the story, besides people need to read more anyway. Zeelog1 4:48 PDT 4/6/2008 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.164.37.128 (talk) 11:47, 6 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

That's stupid, movies don't degrade stories. 173.209.103.217 (talk) 05:45, 23 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

Removed section edit

I've removed the following:

Themes
The book was heavily influenced by Howard Zinn's work, A People's History of the United States. [citation needed] The central theme of the story indicates that the people of the United States must advance by reaffirming essential principles of liberty and justice, by honestly confronting the mistakes of their country's past, and by working to prevent similar mistakes in the future.

It's a pretty extraordinary claim, and as such, it needs a pretty explicit citation verifying that. It cannot return to the article without a reliably sources reference. - Arcayne (cast a spell) 08:31, 24 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Image edit

I've removed the recruiting poster Uncle Sam image. While the comic book character was likely patterned after that image, it isn't the same character. As well, I've reinstated the unreferenced tag; while it has some references, it could use a lot more. - Arcayne (cast a spell) 17:03, 17 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Point of Mordor edit

This sounds like this sucks. 66.57.22.41 (talk) 05:19, 15 September 2011 (UTC)Reply
