This page read like an ad. If you really need me to point out specific points, let's discuss. But the alternative was to send this article to articles for deletion as spam. However, I was in a charitable mood and cleaned it up. Montco 05:40, 20 February 2007 (UTC)

Founder of the Company

Dear Chella123,

I would like to open up a discussion with you. Would you prefer to have the discussion on your user talk page, the discussion page of the article (this page), or would you prefer to have it on my user talk page?

I have copied below from Wikipedia the first recommended step towards resolving editing differences, and would like to discuss with you.

First Step Recommended from article: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Resolving_disputes
First step: Talk to the other parties involved
The first resort in resolving almost any conflict is to discuss the issue on a talk page, you may even post the proposed content on the talk page. Either contact the other party on that user's talk page, or use the talk page associated with the article in question. Never carry on a dispute on the article page itself. When discussing an issue, stay cool and do not mount personal attacks. Take the other person's perspective into account and try to reach a compromise. Assume that the other person is acting in good faith unless you have clear evidence to the contrary.

Both at this stage and throughout the dispute resolution process, talking to other parties is not simply a formality to be satisfied before moving on to the next forum. Failure to pursue discussion in good faith shows that you are trying to escalate the dispute instead of resolving it. This will make people less sympathetic to your position and may prevent you from effectively using later stages in dispute resolution. In contrast, sustained discussion and serious negotiation between the parties, even if not immediately successful, shows that you are interested in finding a solution that fits within Wikipedia policies.

Sincerely,

Stephen Ross Stevejross 12:58, 2 October 2007 (UTC)

It is well known that Stephen J. Ross is the founder of the company. I don't see any reason for disagreement here.--Lettherebelight | Talk 09:49, 9 October 2007 (UTC)

Open discussion request

Dear Vishnu123,

I would like to open up a discussion with you. Below [above], I have copied from Wikipedia the first recommended step towards resolving editing differences.

I do request that you would take the time to communicate directly with me. It is important that this site remains factually accurate.

Thank you for your response.

Sincerely,

Should This News Article About $130 Million Expansion Be Included On "UST Global" Page

The below article about UST Global was posted on the BusinessWeek site for the company.

In your opinion, should this article be noted under "Corporate Milestones" ??

Yes, this information seems relevant. EdJohnston 04:13, 2 November 2007 (UTC)

Requested a discussion

Dear Chella123,

I had requested a discussion with you on your user page for a discussion regarding the repeated removal of facts that I have posted to this page. Below is your reply (which you quickly removed) that stated that you are only taking orders from someone else and are not a decision maker.

I request of you again, to help me enter a discussion with this "decision maker." Also, until he or she has a discussion with me, would you please stop removing my edits/posts as they are factual and backed up by the company's 1998 & 1999 records.

Thank you for replying to this with who the person is that I should communicate with that keeps giving you these instructions.

Thank you for your reply.

Sincerely,

Steve Ross Stevejross 15:00, 29 October 2007 (UTC)

Hi Steve,
I am part of UST Global and take care of UST Wikipedia page. It is my responsibility to update and edit the UST Global page as per the instruction given to me. The contents in the Wikipedia page are information’s that we like to highlight regarding our company. Hope you understand our requirement.
Thank you, Chellappa.M
Chellappa, the things that UST wishes to highlight can be done on UST web site - not on Wikipedia. Wikipedia is a free online encyclopedia that is required to reflect a neutral point of view. --Lettherebelight | Talk 07:03, 7 November 2007 (UTC)

Clean up

This article is quite messy, with a reverse-chologoical history, odd bullets and lists, etc. I'm goping to start to woprk on it. Much of this messy format is due to an edit war and COI edits (q.v.). 18:49, 22 January 2008 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bearian (talkcontribs)

New material lacks references

In the last two days, an IP editor 203.99.42.158 (talk · contribs) has added quite a bit of new material about the company. Since this material has a promotional tone and is completely lacking in references, I believe it will have to be removed. Please comment here if you have further thoughts on the matter. UST Global has several thousand employees, and in my opinion deserves an article. It is too bad there are so few reliable sources that anyone has so far been able to find. EdJohnston (talk) 16:44, 1 August 2008 (UTC)

Semiprotection

Three months. New editors are urged to use the talk page to get consensus for their changes. There was a past dispute about the correct name of the founder of the company (G A Menon versus Steve J. Ross). References currently in the article appear to establish that the company was founded by Steve Ross. If you want to change it again, please bring new sources or explain why the previous sources are not decisive. If you change it again without providing sources, the article may be reported to admins.

It has not been easy for anyone to find third-party sources about this company, especially the early days. For the current period, one would expect that some newspaper coverage must exist. Anyone who can find new third-party sources would be performing a service. Covering a business based only on their own web site and press releases implies that the article will never be strong. Request you to make the page editable

We would like to update the management section (on the right hand-side that covers a short snippet). Here is the updated list: Dan Gupta, Chairman Sajan Pillai, Chief Executive Officer Joe Nalkara, President Arun Narayanan, Chief Operating Officer Tony Velleca, Chief Information Officer Jim Hughes, Corporate Innovation Officer Alexander Varghese, Chief Administrative Officer Saurabh Ranjan, Managing Director, Global Operations Group

We would like to have discussion on the Founder name mentioned. We see Stephen J. Ross name coming up at 3 places. I am not able to verify these facts as the links 24 and 25 are not opening up. Suggest we have a discussion on this to sort out. I see that there has been too many edits in the page without any reason leading to the page being semi-protected.

Lets discuss as this is important to present the latest update Arunabc123 (talk) 18:23, 11 July 2013 (UTC)Arun

Services Section

There is a sub-heading: "CEO: Nidhin S G Business Process Outsourcing". This is incorrect. There is no one with the name "Nidhin S G" in the company and certainly not a CEO. CEO of UST Global is "Sajan Pillai". Please remove Nidhin S G text from the page. This shows that there have been too many unwanted edits in the page Arunabc123 (talk) 18:26, 11 July 2013 (UTC)Arun This can be verified in the link below along with UST Global's profile: http://www.leadersmag.com/issues/2013.3_Jul/ROB/LEADERS-Sajan-Pillai-UST-Global.html Arunabc123 (talk) 18:22, 11 July 2013 (UTC) Arun
