Podoloski won the young player of the World Cup tournament, but the prizes for this award are not announced until the 24th August 2006. Podolski isn't on the short list [1]. I'm going to remove his entry. Xobxela 12:34, 16 August 2006 (UTC)

the 2007/04 Best Forward Award edit
There's some confusion over who won the Best Forward award this season. The article itself lists it as Thierry Henry, but I've seen some sites crediting Fernando Morientes as being the award winner. Van Nistelrooy's page says that he was succeeded by Morientes as the winner, but Morientes' page doesn't mention the award. Henry's page, meanwhile, says he won the award in 2004-05 and 2004/04. Anybody know for certain who won it? I'm inclined to believe Morientes because he was the topscorer in the Champions League that season —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 203.82.48.186 (talk) 13:40, 21 February 2007 (UTC).
