Swimming Standings edit
Swimming uses a point system for determining the winner. Nine points for the gold medallists, seven for the silver, and six for the bronze. All finalists receive 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1 in order of decreasing finish. Number of medals does not directly translate to the total points, therefore, due to consideration of the number of finalists.
That is why, UST Lady Tigersharks leads Ateneo and UP as of Day 1.
It just so happens that La Salle leads the Men's pack holding many medals, as of Day 1. Aeron Valderrama (talk) 04:46, 26 September 2008 (UTC)

I suggest we use templates for the team standings so that we do not have to edit the main and the sport article always. 203.34.246.170 (talk) 05:32, 13 December 2008 (UTC)
