NPOV

edit

Parsa and myself have been have been placing the NPOV tags on the cards. See the talk page at Talk:The World (Tarot card) Since tarot cards were not designed for the occult, the placement of "occult" stub tags does constitute POV and ignores tarot's gaming heritage. These individual card pages offer nothing more than occult speculations and perhaps should be deletedSmiloid 00:54, 19 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

I disagree, the tarot may not have been designed for the occult, but they are definitely used for occult purposes. I don't think that putting an occult subtag on them is POV, rather it helps someone who is searching for occult related articles to find it. Tarot definitely belongs under the category of occult even if it has other uses or origins. That's like saying it's POV to list playing cards under gambling or games. It's not, because they are both common usages.

also, I don't think we should eliminate the individual card pages. Tarot cards have a lot of interest and value individually. I think they are definatly encyclopedic.

i am new to wikipedia, and take issue with this page. not because of the content, but more they style. i corrected some passive voice at the very beginning, but i don't want to muck with somebody's page too much. can i go ahead and edit it as i can? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.128.141.33 (talk) 22:44, 23 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

The last paragraph reads more like a tarot reading than an informative paragraph and definitely has some POV going on.

Merge to Suit of Cups

edit

Many of the suit articles seem to be thin on information and I am suggesting merging this article with Suit of cupsTetron76 (talk) 16:37, 2 March 2011 (UTC)Reply
