Talk:Tush (ZZ Top song)

The title of this song appears to be deliberately enigmatic, inasmuch as ZZ Top are not Klezmer (i.e. not Yiddish). When they offer "tush" as a rhyming pair for "much" (I ain't asking for much...) they want you to hear "touch," even though hearing "touch" is reported as a misheard lyric. "Touch" is a prison word for sexual contact. "Tush" pronounced as "touch" is code intended to front as an innocent reference to "bottom" while evoking desire apropos of the bluesy notes bending on the guitar. As Chico Marx might have said, I don't like it innuendo. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.15.171.107 (talk) 05:37, 25 September 2016 (UTC)Reply
