Testing for fecal tumor M2-PK may eventually be a useful screening test for cancer, but this is very far from being proven (contrary to what was said in the article). The test is being produced commercially, however, and heavily marketed to physicians in Europe, raising the suspicion that the overstatements in the article could be commerically motivated. I have modified the language to make it reflect the current state of scientific knowledge.
