Internet trolls versus fishing trolls

edit

The reason I made the page into a disambiguation one was that I found a link to it from Trolling motor - the person who wrote that probably did not think that there was any other significant type of trolling. I'd prefer to err on the side of disambiguation. Having a link from "Internet Troll" to "trolling for fish" seems a bit more odd than having the disambig page for "trolling". Most of the links to "trolling" on its own are now from "talk" pages, it seems. Your thoughts? --Alvestrand 01:54, 27 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

I think that a disambiguation note on the top of the "Internet troll" page is enough. When there are only two possible articles, I'd prefer avoiding a disambiguation page (generally). I'll fix the link, though. Matt Yeager 02:03, 27 January 2006 (UTC)Reply
One option, I suppose, would be to redirect/merge it to troll (disambiguation), as it did at one time; would support a separate disambig page though. CanadianCaesar The Republic Restored 03:33, 27 January 2006 (UTC)Reply
I agree that it should redirect to troll, as there is only one additional usage (that of walking) that could be easily incorporated into the existing disamb page. - IstvanWolf 05:37, 22 April 2006 (UTC)Reply
