Hi, the species' author is actually John Vaughan Thompson. See Wikisource : "During his nine years' service in the West Indies he described in 1809 a new pouched-rat from Jamaica, Mus anomalus". --Salixen (talk) 23:00, 20 November 2012 (UTC)Reply
