Modal split? edit

The beginning of the page uses the term "modal split" but it links to a page "Mode choice" upon which the phrase "modal split" doesn't occur; this page should have a parenthetical explanation of what "modal split" means next to the first usage. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bayle Shanks (talkcontribs) 21:36, 15 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

Benefits of road congestion edit

Doesn't road congestion increase bike use as well (as people can get around faster then) ? Or, does it improve bicycle infrastructure (as cities may decide this would reduce the congestion and implement them), which then in turn improves bike use ? If so, include it somewhere in the article.

Thread retitled from "Simit seviyorum!".

@Belbury Look, I just love that picture, as it illustrate how one man's misfortune is another's opportunity. Which is something that the others don't... that's about it, it adds this extra knack. Synotia (moan) 20:14, 25 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

Good point, I hadn't realised that was your reason for adding it. The article doesn't need both this and the similar Bogota traffic jam, though, so I'll replace it. Belbury (talk) 10:10, 27 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
