Contested Prod edit

I found sufficient references (six total), including one from the BBC and one from a university press book (on the concept of the sonnets being addressed to a male, very possibly Willy Hughes, as referenced in this play), which establish enough notability for me to contest the prod nomination. There is more, but that's all I had time for right now. Prod tag removed. — Becksguy 02:41, 7 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Merge and redirect to Sexuality of William Shakespeare edit

  • This is just a stub as it is. There seem to be sufficient sources to add enough context to make it a decent section in Sexuality of William Shakespeare, but I'm not sure it should be a stand alone article. Didn't spend enough time searching for sources, so I may be wrong. If no one objects, I will merge it (or some one else can). Any discussion on this? I added a merge tag. — Becksguy 02:53, 7 September 2007 (UTC)Reply
  • Article should be developed conforming to WP plays/theater constructs. Merging into either of the other articles will lose most of what would be here and would seem to be a sentence in either Sexuality of William Shakespeare or William Hughes (Mr. W. H.). I'm hardly a Shakespeare fan but I wonder if there are numerous plays written in response or tribute and this might be a part of that tradition. Benjiboi 01:56, 10 September 2007 (UTC)Reply
  • Article has just been expanded and sourced to show its individual notability as a stand-alone. Schmidt, MICHAEL Q. 05:11, 23 January 2009 (UTC)Reply
