The latter half of the following statement in the article is not true:

"PETA then released the documentary Unnecessary Fuss, causing the chief veterinarian to lose his job,[10] as well as the university ending its use of animals in research studies.[11]"

The University of Pennsylvania never ended its use of animals in research studies. The Head Injury Center didn't even disappear. Though Dr. Gennarelli may have moved on to greener pastures (http://www.mcw.edu/display/router.asp?DocID=1673), the same exact space continues to be used for head injury studies using animals (http://www.med.upenn.edu/cbir/). While these days, it's not monkeys; it is mice, rats, and swine. I think ALF is grossly overrepresenting the impact of its work. To be honest, I'd be rather surprised if the chief vet really lost his/her job and wasn't just moved. 68.46.183.96 (talk) 08:42, 9 July 2008 (UTC)Reply
