editI found this: http://www.slowtwitch.com/mainheadings/techctr/bikefit.html . It discusses the difference in body position between road and tri bikes. --Christopherlin 18:19, 3 April 2006 (UTC)
The forward seat position of a triathlon bike may also make it illegal for use under cycling rules. In cycling the front of the saddle must be 5cm or more behind the line of the centre of the cranks. Triathletes often exceed this position by 5cm or more. Usually a simple adjustment of the saddle will make the bike legal for use in cycling.
Also I am not sure that the Greg le Mond time trial referred to is still the fastest in Tour de France History. I could be wrong though. (Nz yardboy 03:00, 8 February 2007 (UTC))
- from ref, it says Zabriskie surpassed LeMond's avg TT pace, by going 54.676km/h over 19km.--Billymac00 (talk) 05:48, 17 July 2010 (UTC)
