The Wikipedia Tiki Torch article is vague with only one sentence to describe it. There are no references on this page. This violates Wikipedia’s 5 pillars because Wikipedia has a neutral point of view and Wikipedia is free content. Under both of these pillars Wikipedia states that information must be verifiable and that copyright laws must be respected. The first pillar is also violated because since the article has only one sentence to describe it, it looks more like a dictionary instead of an online encyclopedia. More information is needed. I read through all of the past changes and there was not much information there either. Originally, the page only had the same sentence with one flower listed. A company statement and personal knowledge have been added and removed. There have been no more changes since February 5, 2010. Gpardue26 (talk) 15:36, 22 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Neither the creator nor the other contributor of the page has a user page and there is no information about what the members know. There have been no issues discussed in the development of the page. This lack of information about the article development tells me the article is lacking in information. There is an abundance of information online concerning Tiki torches such as history and origin, safety and precautions, benefits and uses, and differences and costs. Tiki torches have a distinct culture originating in Polynesia. (aidenjbarry) This is historical information that should be included in this article. There are also benefits and dangers associated with Tiki torches that should also be included in this article to educate consumers. Safe use of Tiki torches should be included such as the distance from combustibles, being prepared, securing torches, and the right types of Tiki torch fuel. Needs cleanup!

This page is pretty disorganized and has some typos, lack of proper sources, etc. How do you summon the cleanup bot? Galactiger (talk) 17:18, 15 January 2016 (UTC)Reply
