Talk:Ticket to Heaven/Archive 1

The Book edit

I'm just watching parts of the movie again. At 1:26:11, "father's" book is shown: "Divine Imperative" :-) --Tilman 19:20, 28 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

At 1:30:58 the name of the cult is given: "The young pioneers" --Tilman 19:28, 28 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Other cult movie edit

I just can't come up with the name - but there's another cult related movie made around that time. All I remember is that at the end, the cultist guy runs away with the cultist girl, their love is more important than the cult, and the cult leader (who has a leading role in that movie, unlike "Ticket to heaven" where he is only mentioned). --Tilman 07:52, 24 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Well, here are some recommendations from IMDB. Looks like Split Image (1982) is quite similar.. Smee 11:21, 24 February 2007 (UTC).Reply
Ooh, 2 other interestings ones: Holy Smoke (1999), and Mysterious Two (1982) (TV)... Smee 11:24, 24 February 2007 (UTC).Reply
Haha, I watched Holy Smoke last week, it sucked (unless you want to see Kate Winslet naked and Harvey Keitel in a dress). --Tilman 15:57, 24 February 2007 (UTC)Reply
THANKS!! (Now I know why I had "split second" in mind, a different movie). Yes, "split image" is the one I mean. (My memory is getting bad - I see that I wrote the summary! [1]). --Tilman 15:57, 24 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Benji edit

Benji's real name is Benji Carroll. [2] The NYT mentions him too. [3] And deprogrammer "Linc Strunc" is actually Ford Greene. --Tilman (talk) 18:38, 17 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Note edit

Nick Mancuso had a role as part of a controversial religious movement, in the episode A New Life (The Outer Limits). Cirt (talk) 22:33, 12 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Over infoboxing? edit

Is all that detail in the info box normal? BayShrimp (talk) 14:27, 3 July 2013

What happened to the section "Plot"??? edit

There used to be a section "Plot". Why was it deleted? Like that the article is incomplete! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.78.12.6 (talk) 16:09, 31 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

I've restored the section. It was erroneously removed because the editor thought we needed inline citations, where we do not, per WP:FILMPLOT. However, the plot summary should be between 400-700 words. Would you be able to shorten it? Erik (talk | contribs) 16:26, 31 July 2013 (UTC)Reply
Well, I am not a native speaker of English. Maybe someone should do this who is. (And thanks for restoring.) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.78.12.6 (talk) 22:19, 31 July 2013 (UTC)Reply
I will try to trim it down to under the 700 word guideline. BigJim707 (talk) 21:52, 3 August 2013 (UTC)Reply
