Aristologists' host
editThe Bantam paperback Three at Wolfe's Door gives, in Poison a la Carte, the spelling of the host's surname as Schriver -- in more than one place, so I doubt that it's an OCR problem. This Wiki article gives the spelling as Shriver, in the Adaptations section. A little research shows that sources such as IMDB also give the spelling as Shriver and I'll bet the current Wiki spelling came either from a source such as IMDB or possibly from the TV show's credits.
So, here is my submission for the most picayune problem of 2010: Should this article spell the name as it appears in the book, or as it presumably appears in the TV show's credits, given that the reference is in the Adaptations section? Or should it be footnoted? TurnerHodges (talk) 16:35, 7 April 2010 (UTC)
- Right, Bantam is blameless this time: the host's name is spelled Schriver in the first edition (page 4). The mistake actually occurs on the third page of the Goldberg-Rabkin script ("In Bad Taste") for the show. Since I entered the information, I'll correct the error in the Adaptations section. — WFinch (talk) 12:17, 8 April 2010 (UTC)
