The writing on the back of the 'Starving of the Saqqara' figure is Byblos script.

Examples of it have been found in Lebanon, Italy, Megiddo, Egypt (Wadi el-Hol) and Greece.76.191.150.36 (talk) 04:36, 15 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

Can the country or geographical locality be added to the display location. Jackiespeel (talk) 09:54, 2 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

There's a photo of the writing on the back of the statue at Concordia (Montreal) University's website, if you go there and search for 'Starving of the Saqqara,' you should find it. Compare the signs on the statue to the list of signs in the Wikipedia article 'Byblos script.' 76.191.150.36 (talk) 01:02, 16 July 2015 (UTC)Reply
