Talk:The Norm Show

Latest comment: 13 years ago by 24.79.89.131 in topic Faith Ford's character

I edited this to remove the line "No mention was made of this transition within the fictional world of the show." That's incorrect, Mr. Curtis (off screen) tries to shoot Norm with a laser guided gun. I think it was mentioned in passing that it happened because Norm slept with his daughter? --Scaryice 06:41, 6 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Don't forget that he fights a kid with pokemon. That's pretty fictional in itself! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.69.255.88 (talk) 22:45, 15 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Theme song edit

How about some info on the theme song? I think it was by the Bare Naked Ladies. 66.251.84.28 18:41, 2 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

  • It was actually by some band called "doug and the slugs" Glaze 04:23, 9 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Looking for help writing an article about the spin-offs and crossovers of this series edit

I am writing an article about all of the series which are in the same shared reality as this one through spin-offs and crossovers. I could use a little help expanding the article since it is currently extremely dense and a bit jumbled with some sentence structures being extremely repetitive. I would like to be able to put this article into article space soon. Any and all help in writing the article would be appreciated, even a comment or two on the talk page would help. Please give it a read through, also please do not comment here since I do not have all of the series on my watch list. - LA @ 17:23, 16 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Faith Ford's character edit

I just made a few corrections after watching the DVD set. I'm not sure if the parts in question were written by someone purely from memory, but there were some pretty glaring errors. Her character was Norm's probation officer, not his social worker (Laurie was his social worker). She was not his ex-girlfriend when she was first introduced; they did not hook up until well into season 2. When she returned in season 3 she was indeed his ex.

Also, I think the blurb in Taylor's bio is flawed too. It states her character became a social worker. I'm not going to correct it because I'm not 100% certain and don't feel like going back to check, but I don't think her character was a social worker, I think she was just a clerical worker in the office, since I don't recall her ever seeing clients. It may or may not have ever been said outright, but I got the impression she was an assistant. 24.79.89.131 (talk) 03:24, 25 January 2011 (UTC)Reply
