I agree with @Jost Riedel:'s remarks about the plot summary. In addition, the idea that Fortnum "is working to prevent a revolution" is ridiculous. Not only is no revolution even hinted at, it would be completely out of character for Fortnum to try to prevent it.

While I did not find the word "Corrientes" in Graham Greene's book, the geographical details given - from the name of the province on the other side of the river down to the names of the street a car takes - clearly describe Corrientes. Jost Riedel (talk) 09:14, 1 May 2023 (UTC)
