Begging everyone's pardon, but I think one vital issue here is understated. I am fairly confident in my recollection that the classic "Trash Compactor" report's catchphrase measurement was not "20 pounds of trash", but "40 pounds of trash". Still, I don't want to just waltz in here and change that if someone has EVIDENCE for 20. (Or some other number, that matter.) So . . . can someone check the videotape, *verify* one number or another (as is appropriately required), and report back?

"Most of the episodes"

I now (happily) own the 4-DVD set mentioned in this article, and find this wording problematic: "featuring most of the episodes of this series"

It may be a paraphrase of what the cited press release says: "includes nearly every hilarious, unforgettable and trenchant moment"

If there were 34 episodes and some were 90 minutes, then the DVD set at 13 hours does not encompass even a third of the series.

Rather, the packaging says it includes "two complete 'best of' compilations and more than 90 additional sketches." (The credit segments on the DVD show a 1974 copyright, which suggests a later compilation rather than original episodes.)

It's likely that most of the episodes are represented to some extent, but not entirely.

I would suggest rewording "most of the episodes" to say "a substantial portion" or something similar. Richard K. Carson (talk) 00:13, 21 June 2021 (UTC)
