"Purple Gas" being a single
editStarting this thread for opinions on whether "Purple Gas" is a single. The editor @Mr. C.C.: restored it as a single and incorrectly claimed it is Bryan's "first Billboard Hot 100 charting single" (which of course was "Something in the Orange"). I have reverted the edit and directed them towards starting a thread here, but I'm doing it for them, and following the roughly established criterion for country singles needing to be serviced to country radio before being considered proper singles. Pinging three regular country music editors @TenPoundHammer, CloversMallRat, and David829: for their input. Ss112 01:25, 16 July 2024 (UTC)
- I believe "Pink Skies" was pushed to at least some format (not country), but "Purple Gas" doesn't seem to have been serviced anywhere to my knowledge, so, no, it is not a "single." CloversMallRat (talk) 02:34, 16 July 2024 (UTC)
