The Girl From Chickasaw Country: The Complete Capitol Masters debuted at #1 on the U.K Country Compilation album chart. It had a three week run at #1 and is currently #7 in it's 10th week of release(Dec. 7, 2018) The U.S.A sold out its small first pressing in pre-orders in less than ten days forcing the official U.S release date to be pushed up to Oct 12, 2018 from the original scheduled release of Sept 24. Universal (U.K) spearheaded the project garnering significant publicity in music magazines like Mojo where it received a 5 star review. Ironically their counterparts in the U.S.A have shown indifference to the project where for over a month no product was available in the c.d format for customers to purchase. This despite the fact the box set received rave reviews in newspapers like the L.A Times. Giant internet retailers like Amazon were forced to stop taking orders. As of Dec 5,2018 product is finally becoming available again in the c.d format at major internet retailers.
