"When Assange was eight, Claire left her husband and began seeing a musician, with whom she had another child, a boy. The relationship was tempestuous; the musician became abusive, she says, and they separated. A fight ensued over the custody of Assange’s half brother, and Claire felt threatened, fearing that the musician would take away her son. In fact, Claire often told friends where she had gone, or hid in places where she had lived before."

With the only connection being Assange's assertion that his intermittent step-father between the age of 8 and 11 was a member of this group, I think this is too tenuous to merit any consequence for the present article. __meco (talk) 13:15, 23 January 2011 (UTC)

Too bad "Assange's assertion" could not be included. Maybe the release of the film bio will cause people such as myself to investigate this (asserted) link further. His claims of an unnatural upbringing included horrific abuse and his belief that he was on often seen by others as being somewhere on the "autism spectrum". Of course, I don't mean any of this to take away from his work. can anyone add this as well as Anne's real name.... the article seems rather 'thin' on facts. Maybe add the doc to wiki on its own page?

It's mentioned at the end of the timeline. The article probably needs reorganization and updating, but I'm not really inclined to do it, and I doubt many people would be because of the subject matter. I've added Anne's real name anyhow. Graham87 07:23, 10 January 2018 (UTC)

Because nobody's written an article ... your questions are answered in the Family article here. Yes, she died two years ago, and yes, she went to court; see the "Police intervension" and "Litigation" sections. Graham87 14:26, 28 July 2021 (UTC)

Still in existence?

This article suggests that the group is still in existence but provides no evidence for this. Does anyone know anything about whether it still exists? Yahboo (talk) 15:40, 21 August 2021 (UTC)
