This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because The Backyard Committee is a professional band composed of well-established musicians in the Connecticut music scene that is going places. Several legitimate press clippings have validated the band (including one by the Hartford Courant, the newspaper of record in the state. I'm still learning to cite everything properly, so hopefully the page will be in better shape by the time you check it out. The band also gives away all it's music for free, and this is a trailblazing idea in a struggling industry. — Lucidmike2 (talk) 05:03, 19 March 2012 (UTC)
