Expansion

I just undertook a major expansion of the article, however I didn't find many sources about the writing, publication or reception. So I've added a hat. Hopefully, editors who notice will undertake to add some real-world info about the book, instead of trying to just delete the plot info. I believe it is incorrect to state that Habble Landing is in Aurora. The way I read the book it is in Albion. (Aurora troops had infiltrated that part of Albion) The cats you say were part of Aurora were part of Albion also (since they were in Habble). That is, some of the characters you say were part of Aurora were actually part of Albion 2601:644:9183:F160:BD1C:34F9:6BF4:5CBF (talk) 05:11, 22 November 2023 (UTC)

Clarification about "spires"

Confusing: "a world in which humans live in 'spires', huge cylindrical arcologies 10,000 feet tall and two miles across." That's not a spire, that's a cylinder with the proportions of a cube (it's as wide as it is tall). Some clarification is needed here. 209.49.54.14 (talk) 17:53, 20 December 2017 (UTC)

The enclosure of the word 'spires' in quotes makes it clear that it is the word used by the author and fictional characters. This is an extremely common practice in English, and is, in fact, the primary use of quotation marks. ᛗᛁᛟᛚᚾᛁᚱPants Tell me all about it. 17:58, 20 December 2017 (UTC)
