Note edit

Just a note: Self-sourcing, subjective comments regarding the performance or quality of a product should be avoided. If this opinion is shared by a significant number of people, if this were documented, and if it were important enough, it could be mentioned. MaxBrains 21:37, 22 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

I used to live just two kilometers from the Taurus factory when I studied. I have some photos (self taken by me) of this. I can scan and upload, for donate via the public domain license, if anyone wants for this article. Pernambuco 13:22, 28 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Pictures of the PT-92 edit

Is there any way to add a picture without it being removed my some overzealous user? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by CipherZero (talkcontribs) 04:02, 20 March 2007 (UTC).Reply

Taurus PT92c edit

What a fun pistol to shoot! The "Compact" is as large as most other manufactureers "full size" models. It is just as accurate and reliable as its full size counterparts too. However, while Taurus is still manufacturing the PT92 and all the full size variants, they no longer make the PT92c. In fact, Taurus cannot even provide replacement grips or magazines for the compact model. Since internal parts are for the most part interchangeable, some are not, so the famous Taurus Lifetime Warranty will probably not mean much if an owner of this model has problems.

external links edit

is it really a good idea that this site is included? it offers no original content, they don't own the right to the photos on there, they were "found", and it's just packed with ads. if it wasn't for the one paragraph on the front page it'd just be a spam site.

after looking into other changes by the same IP, there were more than a few sites that were accessory sales and spam that are now removed. Fugi187 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 07:55, 25 October 2009 (UTC).Reply

Why does the PT92 have Miami, FL writen on it's right side? edit

Is it made in Miami, USA or Brazil?

It's imported to Taurus in Miami from Brazil. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.96.104.211 (talk) 06:57, 7 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Safety location edit

No mention o fthe fact that Pt92s have a frame mounted safety? It's one of the easiest ways to tell them from the original berettas..... Kerdajan (talk) 14:16, 30 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

“Users” link to the Provisional IRA links to the page for the county or Ireland, not the organisation edit

I just wanted to flag that while the PIRA would probably argue that they represent the Irish state this way of linking gives a very misleading representation of the relationship here. While the “users” links on other weapons pages do tend to direct to the state page of the country where the weapon is used by an official military/law enforcement agency I don’t think it’s appropriate in this case. A direction to the PIRA’s page would be more appropriate and lead to fewer misunderstandings.

I didn’t want to just go ahead and make the change if there is a fixed convention I’m just not aware of but if there isn’t I feel this should be addressed. 2A02:C7C:6E39:3D00:346C:EBE2:2524:3548 (talk) 15:29, 21 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
