A fact from Tapas (website) appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 30 January 2016 (check views). The text of the entry was as follows:
Did you know... that Tapastic was created as a "YouTube for comics"?

Tapas is, as I understand, a platform for self-publishing webcomics. I don't understand why this is called a "syndicate". Tapas (website) or Tapas (app) seems like a much more natural title. You wouldn't describe YouTube as a "syndicate", for example.
I see that there's a Category:Webcomic syndicates. However, this seems to be used for associations formed by different webcomic authors, which is more in line with how the term is usually used.
Maybe someone more familiar with webcomics can enlighten me? Otherwise, if no one objects, I will be moving the article to Tapas (website). --Un assiolo (talk) 22:00, 13 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
I agree with your move to website. This isn't a syndicate in the sense of creators coming together to help each other. This is a business asking creators to come to it in a promoter/creator partnership. HenryCrun15 (talk) 03:12, 5 March 2021 (UTC)Reply
