Tactile programming, or tactile-assisted programming edit

I feel the word Tactile Programming should be reserved for Tactile Sign Programming and this page should be called “Tactile-Visual” or “Touch-Visual” programming language. I apologize for Microsoft’s purported misuse of “visual.” Now I’m complaining about your use of Tactile, especially when there’s little tactile feedback from the computer, all the feedback is visual/aural.

If you build a reasonable IDE with purely tactile feedback, let me know. That’s what I’m looking for. Describing a language as tactile when tactile is used only for input is pretty ridiculous. Keyboards are tactile input, mice are tactile, etc. etc. Visual programming languages are named because of their output, not because the computer has a visual system for input. Likewise, tactile programming languages should be named because of their output. 199.247.64.167 (talk) 05:32, 29 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
