In 2014 there was a discussion as to whether this article should be merged into the article about the largest star in the Fomalhaut system.
Since then a new article was started about Fomalhaut C. That is anomalous. Since then a possible exoplanet has been found around this star.
So, I decided the six year old merge discussion was stale, and I restored this article, and added the info on the exoplanet candidate. I'll ping the one remaining contributor who weighed in on that discussion. Geo Swan (talk) 02:15, 16 June 2020 (UTC)
