Merge with Asteraceae?

This page has been here for over 10 years without advancing past stub length, and (more importantly) my impulse is that it is easier to cover as a section of Asteraceae or in the existing Asteraceae#Taxonomy section which seems to already have some overlap. I suppose if there did in the future become enough material about the study of this family (and particularly how that evolved over the centuries), we could consider a split then (either in the same way or some other kind of split), but my thinking is that is a "cross that bridge if we come to it" sort of thing. I'm a little torn about whether to do this as a proposed merge, or be WP:BOLD, or just post on this talk page as something to possibly tackle in the future.
