Noise edit

I've just removed the following paragraph from the article, on the grounds that it was very much not NPOV and was uncited.

Regular meetings in the 1980s saw changes after residents, who had moved in knowing there was a speedway near them complained about noise. This resulted in ever increasing restrictions on noise and finishing time, with thousands of Sydneysiders entertainment spoiled by a selfish few local residents, ultimately killing off that speedway track in Sydney.

If this can be referenced, and re-written neutrally, then I think it would be a good thing to include it. Thryduulf (talk) 23:42, 2 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

Wrong Spelling of surname. edit

My Uncle, Barry ‘Hopkin’ died at the speedway in November 1965. You have recorded his surname as ‘Hopkins’! That is incorrect ! There should not be an ‘s’ on the end ! 2001:8003:C926:2801:55B2:652E:73D1:679E (talk) 10:13, 20 November 2021 (UTC)Reply
